Disclaimer :)

As you might know, I am a teenager, therefore I have not gone to college yet, or written professionally, etc. That being said, my grammar, spelling, and punctuation, etc., might not be perfect. I will also try my very, very, very best to make sure each and every fact is correct. I just want this blog to be a nice, fun, helpful site that you can go to when you feel like you need something “homey” and I hope you will come back to see more things that I share, because it really means so much to me.

I started this blog because I want to help people be their best self. For me, veganism has helped me so much because I feel joy every time I eat a meal, instead of guilt. I never knew what I really was putting in my mouth, and now that I know, I wan’t to help educate others, because so many people can benefit from this information. (The animals and the environment will benefit, and thank you, too)! I hope that I somehow I will get the privilege of helping at least a few people make these changes because they are so important. I can’t imagine what a different mindset I would have without knowing this invaluable and unbelievable information.

Also, I will be always adding to this site to make it better and better. Don’t worry, there will be a lot more recipes, tips, and articles to come!!!

Vegan or not (yet), you are welcome to explore this site and maybe even make some positive changes to your health. I promise you one thing… If you are willing and open to make changes that will benefit you, animals, the environment, your health and more, you are in the right place.

My life has changed in such an amazing way after choosing to eliminate cruelty and emphasize a healthy lifestyle. I hope that I can help change someone’s life for the better with this blog. Thank you for reading, it means so much!

  1. Ava – this is a very impressive, well written, well researched blog. I learned so much reading your writing. You have a refreshing style, and yet I appreciate your attention to grammar and sentence formation. So many young people don’t take the time to learn to write clearly and accurately. When this happens, their message is obscured by their casualness. I hope you will consider a career in journalism or writing, but no matter what career path you choose, strong writing skills will be an asset. When I was about your age – we had just moved to Boise and it was the summer I met your mom – my dad told me “no matter what you choose to do, you will need to know how to write.” I studied English in college, took a job in technical writing in CA after college, worked as a journalist in NY, and started my own nespaper in the small town we live in now in Washington. Keep researching, learning, thinking for yourself and writing. And set goals for yourself. God wants us to be successful and if we set goals and ask for His help, he helps us. I have seen His help in my writing many times. Maybe you can write a book on this subject. Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing is a very easy way to publish a book. If you want to try this, I would be happy to help. I have done it once and found it was really a smooth process.
