Easy switches

Once you are excited about getting your vegan journey going, here are some helpful, easy switches that will come in handy when shopping for delicious vegan food. All of these options can be found at almost any grocery store, which is pretty exciting! These are my recommendations on the certain brands, but for most of these foods there are many brands to choose from!

But first, look at this sweet little cow. Why hurt her or her family, when these plant-based products taste just as delicious, are from the earth, and didn’t harm her family for your tastebuds?


Milk!

Cows Milk / Oat Almond, Soy Milk!

In other words, just switch cows milk to…. oat milk (my favorite), almond milk, soy milk, hemp milk, or any other plant based milk out there (there are so many choices, all of them taste really good). Honestly, there are a lot more choices.


Butter!

Butter / Any brand of Vegan butter

There are lots of brands of vegan butter that taste amazing. My favorite, and the one that my family buys is Earth Balance. This company is amazing at making yummy (healthy) “butter” made from plant based sources. Other brands include, Miyoko’s, Wildbrine, and Forager’s.

Cheese / Any brand of non-dairy cheese!

Cheese is a big one when people want to switch to becoming vegan (it definitely was one for me). But fear not— Vegan cheese tastes delicious and there are many choices for this food. My favorite brand is Daiya. There are also some other brands that are amazing too, like Miyoko’s, Treeline, and Kite Hill! I have also found that things with out cheese are just as good, maybe even better, because you feel so much better after words. For example, I always get pizza without (vegan) cheese because it tastes AMAZING but you feel so much better and you have more energy. So, I would try both ๐Ÿ™‚
