veganism, environment, animal rights, health and fitness
I know that for most people, starting is the hardest part. Change is hard for humans, it can create more work, which for most people is not something they would choose. But when that change changes you for the better, helps the environment, impacts your health, and stops causing cruelty to the innocent, it is so worth a little extra work. I have found that “veganism is not a sacrifice, it is a joy.” It makes me feel joyful and happy after every meal. Something about not causing cruelty and having such healthy foods on your plate make everything feel and taste better. (Trust me when I tell you vegan food is delicious!)
The whole thing that started me on becoming vegan was a documentary called “The Game Changers.” I am so thankful for it, and I am hoping you guys will watch it, because it really is a game changer! As I have expanded and researched more and more, these additional documentaries have also really, really helped me become vegan.
.

This is the first documentary that I watched about veganism. I have not eaten a single piece of meat since the day I first watched this. It is an amazing one for athletes and health- related topics! Quite a few of my facts come from this awesome documentary!! Go check it out!!

“What the Health” is also an amazing documentary about all the health related reasons of becoming vegan, and what a meat diet can do to your body. It is quite frightening the effects that animal products can do on your health. I would definitely recommend EVERYONE watch this one!

This is one of the documentaries I watched early on. It is very informative about the awful effects that the animal agriculture industry has on the environment. I definitely recommend this if you are at all concerned with the environment and want a wonderful earth for us and our future generations.

This is another health documentary about what amazing things a plant-based diet can do! It was one of the first breakthrough vegan health documentaries and I recommend watching it!

This documentary contains slaughterhouse footage of normal animal farms. This was definitely the hardest one for me to watch, especially because I have a sensitive soul. I know most people wouldn’t want to watch something like this, but I truly do recommend it because it really shows us what are we are doing to the earth’s beautiful creatures. (And all for what? Taste? I would especially recommend this if you are having trouble giving up certain products. (this is the U.K’s farms, but I would assure you that most all countries use these methods. Especially the U.S.)

This is very similar to Land of Hope and Glory and is another one about the horrid things we do to animals. This is an amazing one to watch and I definitely recommend watching it, even if it makes you shed a few tears. (I know I did).
Of course there are a lot more documentaries that are great to watch, but these are the ones, in my opinion, that were the best and most interesting! So check them out!!!!!
This is an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING video about rethinking everything from animal morality to health and environment. Another cool YouTube channel is Ashley Wicka. She is a teen vegan (like me)! and has some cool videos like this one for teens that want to see what becoming vegan is about! (Also incredibly useful information). This one is kind of funny because it is just all the junk and stuff that you could actually eat as a vegan. I am a health nut so I don’t recommend eating this stuff, but if you need to treat yourself, go right ahead, it doesn’t affect any animal’s lives.
