Christmas Dinner

We all know it a tradition, just like Thanksgiving, to have a Turkey on our plate for Christmas. And although it is a tradition, it does not make it morally justifiable to rob a animal of it’s life just for a special day. Especially when that day represents love, giving, and compassion. It is very ironic in fact, that we are celebrating giving and love, but payed for an animal head to be violently chopped off. It is so ingrained into our minds that it is what’s normal. Why can’t having a wonderful vegan delicious meal for Christmas instead of a dead body on our plates be normal. Trust me when I say you can have a absolutely delicious meal with out dead body’s or their secretions.

We also have to remember that each and every one of those animals was an individual that suffered until it’s death for us to have it on our festive dinner table. I hope you think twice about what you eat on the wonderful day of Christmas, and know you can do something truly compassionate for another being by not purchasing and eating their flesh.

I encourage you to take 5 minutes to watch this video on Christmas dinner, by Earthling Ed. Please check his YouTube channel out he is amazing!

Also if you want to see more individual personalities of turkeys, watch this video by Joey Carbstrong, another of my favorite activists.

Also to see more of where your “food” comes from for Christmas, watch this, also by Joey Carbstrong.

Happy holidays,
